Of course we’ve had our share of what now has become our standards such as Funky Buddah and Invasive Species but the likes of Dania Beach’s 3 Sons Brewing, Pompano Beach’s 26 Degrees and Odd Breed Wild Ales have all carved out and created their niche in this ever expanding market.<\/p>\n
Here at 5:01 Fridays we pride ourselves on being enthusiasts of all things happy hour related and as such we’re determined to showcase this market in its entirety. In the coming days and weeks we’ll be bringing you an insiders take on both the industry and the people who make it thrive. Venues like Fort Lauderdale’s Invasive Species, Knoffer and Tarpon River Breweries. In addition to providing our members with an insiders view of the industry, 5:01 Fridays will also be working with venues all throughout South Florida’s tri-county area to create a series of unforgettable happy hour experiences that are sure to elevate, enhance and redefine what the term happy hour actually means.<\/p>\n
Tastings, pairings and samplings will all be a part of the experience. We all enjoy the finished product but we’d like everyone to see the hard work and dedication these artisans put into providing us with the essential elixir to all of our happy hour experiences. One of the more interesting aspects we found on our journey into this industry were the sheer number of flavor profiles that exists. The range was truly astonishing. Everything from peanut butter and jelly, to coffee, chocolate, raspberry, peach, plum, mango, kiwi, grapefruit and lime. Not to mention the wide array of sours and ciders.
