This smooth cocktail is fruity and sweet with a bit of spice. It has all the fall flavors anyone can ask for. The combination of smooth bourbon and warm ginger is just spot on.There’s a bit of lemon juice in there, too, which contrasts the sweetness of the pears and honey so well.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Cognac or Gin
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Simple Syrup
- 4 oz Sparkeling Wine
- Lemon Twist to Garnish
Instructions
- In cocktail shaker, combine Cognac or Gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
- Add ice and shake for 20 seconds.
- Strain into chilled flute or vintage glass and top with sparkling wine.
- Garnish with lemon twist.
